We provide structural engineering services to architects, developers, contractors, homeowners, and other clients. Our team includes licensed professional engineers in Maryland, Virginia, Washington, DC, Pennsylvania, and Ohio. We serve as the engineer of record for steel, concrete, wood, and cold-formed framed structures. Most of our work involves low- to mid-rise buildings for commercial offices, retail spaces, and multifamily dwellings, such as apartments, condominiums, motels, warehouses, schools, restaurants, and courthouses.
We serve as specialty structural engineers engaged by a contractor for buildings designed with cold-formed steel, offering design and drawings along with structural calculations for mid to high-rise hotels, department stores, offices, courthouses, and strip shopping centers. We also provide structural steel roof truss design and detailing, as well as engineering and calculations for stair and railing systems. We can seal miscellaneous steel fabricator shop drawings that contractors submit for fabrication and installation approval.
In addition, we offer structural engineering services for one- and two-family residential projects, ranging from single-room additions to complete construction and permit documents for custom homes. We also conduct wind load analyses for additions to existing houses and develop custom shear wall plans with structural calculations for architects or builders to include in their submission that address county reviewers’ comments on lateral load analysis.
